Metro stations were designed by Chicago architect Harry Weese, and are examples of late-20th century modern architecture. In 2007, the design of the Metro’s vaulted-ceiling stations was voted number 106 on the American Institute of Architects‘ list of “America’s Favorite Architecture“.

This photograph was captured with a Canon EOS 20D with a EF-S 10-22mm Ultra Wide Angle Lens, 10mm, Aperture Priority, F/4.5,  ISO 800 and a shutter speed of 1/10.
