The gentleman in the photograph appears to be thinking of something while he was crossing the street. His head down, just looking on the ground as if he was counting his steps. This is an underground passage going to the Amtrak Train Union Station at King St. in Alexandria VA. The photo was taken between 10:45 am and 11AM, and as I walk down the stairs on the way out of the station platform, I notice the textures of the walls which for I really don’t pay attention in the pasts, but what really caught my eye was the light hitting the underground tunnel from above.
